Pfizer’s vaccine could soon defeat cancer
Sky News reports that technology to develop Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine could be effective in fighting cancer in a couple of years.
Both Pfizer / BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines use messenger RNA (mRNA) to send genetic instructions to cells in the human body to make proteins that trigger it to attack the coronavirus.
The same principle can be applied to induce the immune system to deal with tumors.
